Ugh my heart! My soul cries for the families that have lost their loved ones due to fear of nothing more than the color of their skin. I pray God watch over my beautiful/handsome nieces and nephews who also live in that skin. I pray God reminds them how beautiful of a person they are; how important and loved they are. I hope they remember just how needed they are in this world and that they can make a change in this world. We have to do better. We have to stand up for our fellow brothers and sisters of color. Black is not bad. Black is not a bad word. We are all human beings and should be treated as such! Stand up and speak up, please! My heart cannot handle this anymore.
Please take the time to watch the video below. It’s powerful and puts things into perspective for a person of color…

Throughout the years, I have suffered with anxiety, but it wasn't until 2013, that I decided to get help for it. I started seeing a therapist and learning so much about myself and the reasoning behind my anxieties. Because of therapy and being so open, I decided to blog about it. I figured, if I could go through so many years hiding behind a facade, why not write about my true self and what I am learning to overcome it. If I can help someone else in this world, then I don't mind at all being open about my experiences. I will write about my anxieties, my triumphs, my failures, and just my over all emotions through my days. Please follow or share. Hopefully someone can relate to this blog and find a way to get help.
